Accounting Economist Focused on Accounts Receivable

About the Position

As an accounting economist focusing on accounts receivable, credit control, but also responsible for accounts payable and accounting, you will be an important part of the finance department and have the opportunity to interface with a large part of the organization. You will work closely with the sales department and project managers on issues related to the company's customers. You will also communicate with colleagues on-site and colleagues in international offices. You will communicate in both Swedish and English.

Due to a parental leave, our client needs an accounting economist for at least one year. The start of this assignment is in mid-January 2026. The company is undergoing a system change, which means you will enter an exciting time where the focus is on the system but also on the processes related to the area of responsibility.

The position consists of a consulting assignment via SJR. The work is full-time with flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work 1-2 days a week. The workplace is centrally located.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include accounts receivable and credit control, but also accounts payable and accounting/closing, where reconciliation work, asset register, accruals, depreciations, etc. are included.

Suitable Background

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and accounting, where you have assisted in closing and have worked with reconciliations, accruals, depreciations, and asset registers. You may have also focused on credit control.

You are also an experienced user of Excel.

As the company is in an intensive phase regarding system change, it is important that you have experience with various systems and possibly have been involved in a similar change where a system change occurs.

Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

You have a background in higher education in economics.

You are confident in your knowledge and self-sufficient in the areas mentioned above. You communicate easily with others and have a good ability to build relationships through this. You take great responsibility, are service-minded, and have analytical skills. We also see that you are development-oriented with the ability to see how and suggest ways to improve work processes. You thrive in a fast-paced organization with many contacts. You have an interest in systems and generally learn new systems quickly.
